Appointment & Registration
Call (409) 938-2234 during clinic hours to schedule all dental appointments.
Patients are expected to pay for their dental care at the 4C's clinic. How much a patient
has to pay for dental services is based on the patients household income. Therefore new
patients must register to have their "discount level" calculated before they can receive
dental care. For this reason, new dental patients should arrive at the clinic at
least one (1) hour before their appointment.

Dental Emergencies
Persons with a real emergency should go to the nearest emergency room for treatment. Examples of dental emergencies include:
- Broken jaw or other serious injuries involving the mouth.
- Signs of serious infection of the teeth or gums (such as severe pain, swelling, bleeding to mouth or face along with fever and chills)
- Sudden uncomfortable bleeding after a tooth has been lost If you are not sure of a dental problem is an emergency, call a 4C's dental clinic during normal office hours.
If the clinics are closed, call the UTMB's HealthCare Hotline at (409) 747-7170 or (800) 917-8906. The American College of Emergency Physicians has published some useful tips to help people deal with common dental emergencies.
